I was privileged to take pictures for this family! And I am related to them too!:)0038_IMG_0051 (2) 0029_IMG_9967 0036_IMG_0030 0031_IMG_9991 (2) 0040_IMG_0064 0046_IMG_0111 0064_IMG_0232 (2) 0059_IMG_0210 0058_IMG_0204 (2) 0053_IMG_0156

June 1-11, 2013… For months my youth group had been planning, doing fundraisers, and getting things lined up for our missions trip to Ireland. Finally June 1 arrived!! We left in PLENTLY of time on Saturday, just to make sure we would not get to the airport too late! 🙂 We flew out of the JFK airport in New York City around 9:00 p.m. We were to arrive in Ireland Sunday morning around 8:00-8:30. The guy we were working with had gotten us lined up with Irish Tours, so the plans were to tour Sunday, stay at a beautiful hotel Sunday night, and finish touring on Monday. Our bus driver, by the name of James, picked us up at the Shannon airport in Ireland and we were off! Ireland is 5 hours ahead of us here in PA, and our flight was an overnight flight, so people didn’t get a whole lot of sleep or any at all! The bus ride on Sunday was rather unique… We would go from attraction to attraction and in between it was rather silent! People were quite tired!!:)

God blessed us with absolutely amazing weather! We had beautiful weather from Monday, June 3 – Sunday, June 9! Even though it was cooler and drearier on June 10, it didn’t start to really rain until that evening! It was amazing! And since it is summer over there, it got light around 4:00-4:30 in the morning and didn’t get dark till about 11:00 p.m.! It made it soo nice for hiking and doing evening activities as such, although it made it feel earlier than it really was!!! 🙂

These are the Cliffs of Moher… We were so blessed to even be able to see them! There was a guy there that played the guitar and harmonica and he said that he has had people come to him and wonder where the cliffs are (because of it being SOOO hazy that they can’t even see them)!!

siblings… love them! 🙂

Sunday night we went to a lakeside hotel for the night! It is an absolutely gorgeous place! These ruins were castle ruins and we could see them from our rooms! 🙂 The next image is our hotel… it was huge! The 3rd image is more scenery behind the hotel… That night we had a 3 course dinner at the hotel. We started the meal around 8:30 and didn’t finish till at least 10:00!IMG_8927

Here is Zachary. One of my friends and I traveled to Georgia in November and visited this little guys family. His mom is a photographer as well, so we wanted to get some photography help from her! Thanks, Christy for your help! 🙂

Wes & Heidi: family

We actually got this photo shoot accomplished! They live out of state and were here for a short time, so we had planned to do it one day, and it rained! Heidi figured that we would need to skip it, but then the day they left turned out to be BEAUTIFUL, so we did a quick photo shoot for them! Enjoy…
